These terms cover every visit to authenticgems.pk and every order placed with Authentic Gems, whether on the website, on WhatsApp or over the phone. Placing an order means you accept them, so please read them together with our shipping policy, return and refund policy and privacy policy.
1. Who We Are
authenticgems.pk is run by Authentic Gems, an online gemstone business based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. You can reach us at hello@authenticgems.pk, or on WhatsApp using the number on our contact page.
2. What We Sell
We sell natural loose gemstones. Every listing is a single stone, photographed as it is. Natural stones have inclusions and vary in colour, and every screen shows colour a little differently, so a small difference between the photo and the stone in your hand is normal. Where a stone has a treatment that is customary for its kind, such as heating in ruby and sapphire or oiling in emerald, we disclose it when we know of it.
3. Certificates
You can ask for a certificate of authenticity with any stone. Independent laboratory testing can also be arranged on request, and any conditions attached to it will be agreed with you before the testing is done.
4. Prices
All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Each stone has its own price, and the per-carat rate shown is that price divided by the carat weight. Prices can change without notice, but the price confirmed when you order is the price you pay. If a stone is listed at a clearly mistaken price, we may cancel the order and will tell you before anything is dispatched.
5. Orders and Confirmation
When you place an order, you are offering to buy. We confirm each order by phone or WhatsApp before dispatch, and the contract between us is made at the moment we confirm. We may decline or cancel an order, for instance if the stone is no longer available, the details given cannot be checked, or we cannot reach you to confirm. Since each stone is one of a kind, if it sells before your order is confirmed we will tell you and suggest alternatives.
6. Payment and Delivery
Payment is Cash on Delivery, within Pakistan. Delivery is a flat Rs. 500 per order. We aim to dispatch within 1 working day of confirmation, by insured, tracked courier from Karachi. Delivery within Karachi usually takes 1 to 2 working days, to major cities 2 to 4, and to smaller towns up to about 7. These are estimates, and events outside our control can affect them. You may inspect the stone on delivery before paying. We deliver to addresses in Pakistan only.
7. Returns and Refunds
You may return a stone within 7 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange, under the conditions in our return and refund policy. Stones cut or made to your instructions cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or not as described.
8. Traditions and Beliefs
Some pages on this site describe the traditional, cultural or astrological meanings of gemstones. We share these as tradition and belief, nothing more. We do not promise any health, financial, spiritual or other result from wearing a stone, and nothing on the site is medical or professional advice.
9. Website Content
The words, photographs and design of authenticgems.pk belong to Authentic Gems and may not be copied for commercial use without our written permission. We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it will always be free of mistakes or interruptions.
10. Limit of Our Liability
As far as the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here takes away any right you have under Pakistani law that cannot be excluded.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts at Karachi, Sindh. We would always rather sort a problem out directly first, so please talk to us.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the moment you order is the one that applies to that order.
