What a lab looks for in Lehsunia
- Identity: chrysoberyl cat's eye as opposed to quartz cat's eye, tourmaline, apatite or fibre-optic glass, all of which can show a similar eye.
- Irradiation: some chrysoberyl is irradiated to deepen the body colour and sharpen the eye.
- Glass imitations: seen from the side under magnification, fibre-optic glass shows a honeycomb pattern.
- Weight and measurements: recorded so the report can only belong to your stone.
Getting a report
Choose a stone from our Lehsunia collection and message us its link on WhatsApp. We'll tell you how testing would work for that stone, and you see the report before you pay. You can do the same with tiger eye, moonstone and yellow sapphire. More on our lab-certified gemstones page.
